Finally!
I finally got a small taste of the African continent!
Once again it has been a busy year of travels. I’ve been back to some old favourites and added some new European countries to my map. And, I’ve finally dipped my toes in the African continent with an intensive two-week trip across Namibia.

This week I completed six years of regular Weekly blogs.
I’ve tried to keep the posts mixed up: nature, landscape, architecture, sculpture and of course people – portraits, music, costume, and dance – from seventeen countries on five continents.

Sometimes you get into more interesting places when you travel with a group; photographic groups have certainly got me into situations I wouldn’t have found by myself. I am thankful to the wonderful group-leaders I have travelled with – they add enormous value to the travel experience.
